Financial Planning
Part #1 - THE PROFESSIONALS
America's political infrastructure has matured since its primitive days epitomized by dead white males such as Thomas Jefferson, John Adams, George Washington, George Mason, Benjamin Franklin, James Madison, Patrick Henry,
and Robert Yates (Brutus). Today's top politicians are systemically educated and professionally validated.
Those in the newer profession of "Financial Planning" are no exception. As government and taxation has matured, and as corporations have grown to occupy a huge portion of America's political and economic majesty (replacing "purple mountains" in this respect), We the People's workers and middle class have become increasing indebted to systemically educated professionals (tax accountants, financial planners, etc.).
Our state governments and federal regulators have defined the Financial Planning profession and systemically validated its practicioners by giving their imprimateurs to educational curricula and licensing qualifications. We can be thankful for the alertness of the system's bureaucratic watchdogs, such as the SEC, for the type of work they perform.
There will always be naysayers, cynics, and destroyers of the good. It is encouraging when one realizes how few Americans read books critical of our great corporations, our teams of trained governmental workers, and our sophisticated professionals, duly licensed to serve the American public.
Where would the wealth, and economic security of America's citizens be today without the help and resources of these trained professionals? This is a good question that I intend to address in my next blog.
"Stay tuned", as they used to say on radio. Home radio consisted of sound only, without enlightening pictures.
